UPDATE--Sunday, May 22, 2011: The judging is complete, and it was a great field of entries. Thank you to all who entered the competition, and congratulations to Seth Townsend for his Organic Dubbel.  Full results are posted on the 2011 Awards page.  We hope you join us again in 2012, and until then -- keep homebrewing!

Calling all Homebrewers! Submit your best brews for the Third Annual Ska Brewing GABF Pro-Am Homebrewers Competition! The winning brewer will be
invited to Ska Brewing in Durango, Colorado to help brew a commercial batch of their beer for release this fall AND entered in the Pro-Am category of the 2011 Great American Beer Festival. We will also provide the winner with a ticket for the members-only awards ceremony!

Ska Brewing’s three founders got their start as avid homebrewers, and we’re dedicated to creating new opportunities for the homebrewing community. In this case, that means an opportunity to have your beer produced commercially, and perhaps more importantly, to have your beer submitted to the GABF Pro-Am Competition for the chance to be recognized with a GABF medal -- one of the most prestigious medals in the craft beer world.

In order to have your winning beer sent to the GABF, you must be an AHA member at the time of the competition. Check out the Entry Information page and please follow the submission instructions and competition rules carefully. We look forward to trying your brews!

ENTRY DEADLINE: Monday, May 9, 2011
