Ska Brewing GABF Pro-Am Homebrew Competition

Entry Information


Registration:                You must register for this event online. All of the below information applies to your entries ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED.

Entry fee:                     $7 per entry. Make checks payable to Ska Brewing Company.                    

Awards:                       1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards will be issued for all categories.  1st place for each category will compete for Best in Show.  Best in Show will be declared the winner, and will become Ska’s Pro-Am entry for the 2011 GABF. The beer will also be commercially brewed and released as part of Ska’s “Local Series”.

Entry Deadline:            Monday, May 9, 2011 (or the first 100 entries).

Beer Deadline:            All beer entries must be received between April 25 and May 11, 2011

Restrictions:                Competition limited to the first 100 entries.

Judging:                      Entries will be judged May 20-21, 2011.  Winners will be announced May 21 at Ska Brewing during our American Craft Beer Week closing event.

Submission Details:       

                               1.  Send two (2) unmarked, 12 oz. bottles of your homebrew to:

                                    Ska Brewing Co., 225 Girard Street, Durango, CO 81303
            Attn: Homebrew Competition

                   2.  After you complete the online registration you will be given a confirmation page to print out and submit with your bottles. Please use a rubber band to secure one of these to each bottle.

                   3.  No markings on the cap, and no labels on the bottles. 

               4.  Please include a complete recipe for each entry. This is necessary so we can replicate the brew on a commercial scale.
